2026 Hyundai Verna: The sedan has been spotted testing, and spy images reveal major interior upgrades along with subtle exterior tweaks. Hyundai is preparing multiple launches for 2026, and one of the most important updates will be the Hyundai Verna facelift.
Here are the 6 big changes coming to the New Verna.
1. Bigger 12.3-inch Screens
Dual 12.3-inch displays will now be offered in the Hyundai Verna facelift. It includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display. The current model gets a smaller 10.25-inch unit, so this is a big upgrade for the 2026 Hyundai Verna.
2. Completely Redesigned Dashboard
A fresh design that looks more modern and premium is confirmed by spy shots. The new dashboard layout is the biggest highlight of the 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift. Most of the updates are focused inside the cabin.
3. Updated Interior Themes
The turbo petrol variants of the Hyundai Verna facelift 2026 will come with an all-black interior and red stitching. The naturally aspirated version will continue with a dual-tone black and beige theme. Electric sunroof, ventilated front seats and powered driver seat will continue.
4. New Steering Wheel & Ambient Lighting
A black-finished three-spoke steering wheel with Morse Code for the letter ‘H’ will feature in the New Verna, similar to the one seen on the Creta Electric. Red highlights around the AC vents and white ambient lighting will also be offered, giving the cabin a sportier feel.
5. No Engine Changes
Mechanically, the 2026 Hyundai Verna will remain unchanged. It will continue with:
- 1.5L turbo petrol (160hp)
- 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115hp)
Transmission options will include a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual.
6. Subtle Exterior Tweaks
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift will receive cosmetic design changes. The front is expected to get a revised grille, updated bumper and new LED DRLs.
Connected LED lighting elements and a new diffuser with a silver insert could be offered at the rear. The sedan will continue to ride on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Rivals in 2026
Once launched, the Hyundai Verna facelift will continue to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and
Skoda Slavia. All three sedans are also expected to receive updates in 2026, making the mid-size sedan segment more competitive.
With major interior upgrades and subtle design tweaks, the New Verna aims to strengthen its position in the segment. The launch is expected in the first half of 2026, and more details should surface soon.
