Short Description: BARC Scientist Recruitment 2026 | Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has released the BARC Scientist Recruitment 2026 Notification for the Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates (DGFS-2026) and the One-year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates (OCES-2026). Online application can be done through the official BARC OCES portal from 22nd December 2025. Engineering graduates and science postgraduates will undergo training and will be appointed as Scientific Officers (Group-A) in various DAE units across India.
Final year students may apply, but must submit final marksheet by December 2026
Selection Process
Screening: Online Exam OR valid GATE Score (2024/2025/2026)
Interview: Shortlisted candidates at BARC Mumbai (Geology/Geophysics at Hyderabad)
Final selection based on interview performance and medical fitness
Stipend & Salary
During Training: ₹74,000 per month + book allowance (OCES) / tuition fee + contingency grant (DGFS)
On Appointment: Basic ₹56,100 (Level 10) + allowances (~₹1,35,000 in Mumbai)
